I’m currently working on my PhD, developing a new research framework I call Social Thermodynamics, which looks at society as a system of flows — of capital, power, information, and human effort. Instead of seeing class and institutions as static structures, this approach examines how they continually reorganize themselves to move resources more efficiently, much like rivers or energy systems in nature.

Here are some papers I've written on the subject:

Colonial Identities: Articulation as Stabilizer for Extractive Flows
by Shara Merrill

Critical Constructal Theory: Class as a Material Flow System Optimized for Capital Accumulation
by Shara Merrill
